I usually take the month of December to reflect and think about the year as well as plan for the coming year. While that is historically true, I spent much of November in that head space and am hitting the ground running in December. I almost feel like it is a new year. I have a new vision and reignited passion for photography. I can say with certainty that 2017 was an improvement for me personally over 2016. I see it in my images and I feel it in my mind and heart.
So with that in mind, I am going to just take a moment to look back over some of my favorite pics from 2017.
Here are my favorite 10 images that strike me and mean something to me. I filtered out my family shots as I am an unbiased editor and they all are in my top 10. The top 10 listed here are are just images without my family that mean something to me.
