Today’s winter wonderland images are about fun and exploration. For many, rides are about speed, distance, heart rate, Strava and training. For me rides are about destination, fun and exploration.  Neither one is the only way or the right way. There is a time and place for both. Thankfully, for me, I’m fortunate to be surrounded by many like minded individuals that are willing to see where a path leads and take a moment or two just to seek out something new.

Who doesn’t love a good rope swing in the woods?

For me, it is these moments and these treasures that define many of my rides and make them memorable. As I look at those pictures above I smile and chuckle. I am so thankful for the friends that enjoy these moments too.
