My 2012 – October thru December

I finally got some time to go through some images to end my year. Fall is a busy time for us with birthdays, soccer and holidays. I also took an actual vacation to ride my bike. Some might find that odd given I get to ride my bike often on my work trips. It’s true, but it has been years since I took an actual bike vacation with zero work related expectations. It was so, so nice. We, of course, ended the year with Christmas and New Years with family. Here goes.

October 2012 – I tried to keep it short on both the soccer and California bike tour images. I could have posted 20-30 from each of those. I love October though as it is our twins’ birthday month and Halloween is always fun in our neighborhood.

November 2012 – After my big trip in October, November marked a little bit of a bike hibernation for me and I spent as much time with the family as possible.

December 2012 – Well…It is December in MN and that means riding fatbikes and ending the year with family. Two of my favorite things.

All in all, 2012 was my best yet. I likely say that every year, but it is true. I choose to life my life the way I do and I find immense joy in it. Sure I had some tough times in the year, but when I look back at the images and process the memories, those are not the things that stand out. There are just too many good things to focus my energy on.

I end the year wondering what 2013 brings to me and to my family? I am anticipating some big things in the coming year. Bring it on!
