My 2012 – July thru September
OK, let’s try this again. I mentioned yesterday that I exported full size hi res images by mistake and just couldn’t get them all resized for yesterday’s post. The good news is that as a result of more time, I have more images to share today. Another long photo post.
July thru September was the meat of the summer for our family. Due to my schedule earlier in the summer, we crammed it all in these months. We spent time with friends, went on a vacation together to MN’s North Shore, played soccer, rode bikes and ran cross country. We did it all and enjoyed every single minute of it. Hope you enjoy.
July 2012 – It was a hot, hot summer. We started off the 4th of July indoors with bowling and I had many early morning bike rides. I spent a week in Utah for work. It was sweet and I got to ride every single morning and/or evening after work.

August 2012 – We had an amazing family trip up north that reminded me of what is the most important thing in my life, my family. We enjoyed every minute of our trip and our time together. It was my most consistent month with morning rides. We also went full on into soccer practice with both kids moving to competitive traveling teams. My boy also started cross country. Busy but fun. It felt like August was free for me as I was not going to Eurobike this year. A bit strange feeling, actually, but I spent every minute I could with my family.

September 2012 – It was again a lower key September for me as I did not attend Interbike, the annual bike show in Las Vegas, due to some other commitments and managing my travel time. This was my first time missing in 10 years (since my twins were born). It felt weird, but it felt good. We spent the month mostly supporting kids in sports. I again found time to get a few rides in. Somehow that always happens…..

Yes, looking back at these 3 months I must say that I, and we as a family, enjoyed life and took every moment we could to embrace it.
