Friday Ride Stoke – Old Car
Hopefully you all have had a good Thanksgiving. I/we did. Today I bring you Old Car. I love finding junk while out exploring. I’ve gotten 3 messages in the past 2 weeks about where to find it on the MN River Valley route. Well, here are the instructions.
The car is near the old Sibley House end of the trail. Lets say you head out from Sibley House to go west on the trail. It’s just a few miles in. You pass under the Mendota bridge (which has some good graffiti right now). As the cruise through the wet portion of the trail the trail starts pointing back to the river. Just as the trail nears the rivers edge, you cross a small bridge and the trail immediately splits into to two paths. One path stays near the river. One goes left. Take the left trail and then immediately go off trail to the left. There is no trail but it is very open and easy to ride. Keep heading back that direction and you will find the car, a fire pit, and two make shift chairs from hooped steel and T-shirts.
I’ll be stopping by tomorrow AM. Look for my tracks!
Have a great Friday folks.

Gnat, are those the 27 or 120 Knards? If 120, what’s the weight? Like em? Thanks!
Josh, they are the 120′s and they are prototypes. I have not weighed them though. Sorry I can’t help there.
I saw your custom Muk build. Whoa! That is sweet! Nicely done.
That image looks like it’s been shot with a tilt-shift lens. Was that your processing or the angle you shot this at?
Steve thanks for the note. No tilt shift going on there. Just a very good long lens shot at 150mm at a very wide aperture.
