Friday Ride Stoke
Funny short story before I get to Friday’s ride stoke. I spent most of Monday flying home and as a result, I did not work. All week I have been off schedule and missing certain weekly events. I posted something up last night thinking it was Wednesday and that I would not post on Thursday and then have a good Friday Ride Stoke. Well….My brain just isn’t right at the moment and late last night I realized I was off by an entire day.  Regardless, I am super stoked it is Friday despite it being on of our coldest days of this winter season.
So, onto today’s Friday Ride Stoke. This one is a little bit different than my recent posts but a recent favorite of mine. It’s a bit more up close and personal. These folks are also really good and talented people without knowing it have influenced and inspired me. It’s also slightly out of focus but I liked the overall feel of the image. The snowfall and the angle makes me feel a bit of movement in the image or something.  I also get the feeling that riding fatbikes is fun from this image. I know we sure had a super fun morning out riding ogether.
Those are my friends Mac Maccoy on the left and Casey Greene on the right. For those that don’t know, Adventure Cycling Association and Mac are responsible for the little route known as the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route! It was an honor to actually ride fatbikes on part of the Great Divide route with the person who mapped it! How cool is that?!!! Casey Greene is a cartographer at Adventure Cycling Association and in the future, you’ll hear about Casey’s pet project and route. It is going to be killer and yet another ACA route I am going to want to do. As a side note, check out Casey’s blog here. He’s got quite a few images up from last weeks Fatbike Summit in Island Park, ID.
