Finally getting out there
I finally got two good rides in a row. The distances were shamefully lame, but I did it and it feels good. Hard efforts though due to one day being warm and sloppy and the next being cold, windy and icy. I can’t even tell you how much I needed it and how good it feels to be tired, fatigued and sore. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Today I’ll share a few pics from yesterday’s ride. I rode my Vaya Ti again. It just feels just right on these rough late winter roads. I left in the low 20′s and wind. I thought it would warm up but it didn’t. I rode a couple of hours out into the wind before heading back. My plan was to stay on pavement because the gravel was sketchy. I had nice loop planned with a couple of paved roads that I don’t ride that often. I even found a few rolling hills through the country side.
I will leave you with my favorite pic of the day. I like the minimalism of this shot. Also shows you what much of our gravel looks like right now. I think I am going to be on pavement for a bit. That’s OK because right now I need any and all miles I can get.
Have a great week everyone.
