Braaapp!
So after a bit of riding and shooting with the big Fatbike group, my friend and coworker, John and I sort of just did our own ride on Global Fatbike Ride Day. John is one of those super talented bike riders. He’s got mad skills. I enjoy shooting with John and he’s always game to play around. When he is playing around I play around shooting too. Â we got this shot in two runs. Love it. One of my favorites in quite a while. I love the feel of the image as well as the color and depth.
As I off loaded these pics I imagined a very specific shot for my next ride with John. I know he’ll be game. It’s good to have friends like that.

Ha! I didn’t realize that this was you when I was out there. I’ve been following your blog for awhile now. Nice shots. It was good to meet you out there!
(I was the one who was hanging out while you were shooting this shot actually.)
Will I am glad you stopped and it was great meeting you. Yes, I was actually shooting that shot when se were chatting. Hope to see you again soon.
Cool shot!
I can wheelie a bit – left over teenage skill that remains to this day – so got a kick out of the pic.
Dan O thanks for stopping by and for the comments. I am not so lucky not blessed with the wheelie gene. I see this and read your words and i so wish I could loft my front wheel for more than several feet.
Take care And thanks again.
Don’t feel bad Gnat. I can’t wheelie a bike to save my life. I then spend my time riding with Squirrel and Matt Gersib who seem to be able to wheelie anything that has tires. It’s an ego killer
Steve, great to know I am not alone. I’ve ridden a lot with MG and yes, he has the wheelie gene.
Lovely shot. Looks like a beautiful spot to be riding.
Thanks Cass. Quite a compliment coming from you. Love your site and all that you do for bicycles and for inspiration.
